Free Training – Understanding Parental Conflict

Due to demand, Brighter Futures for Children have arranged additional dates for their Understanding Parental Conflict Training in January and February. This is a free series of workshops which is relevant to anyone working with children and families. If you haven’t booked onto the training yet, there are a limited number of places left.

Module A (half day): Understanding Parental Conflict and its Impact on Child Outcomes
  • An introductory module providing an overview of the research.
  • The training is for: Practitioners.

  • MA6: 15 January 2020, PM 13:00 – 16:30 – places available. 
Module B (full day): Recognising, Supporting and Working with Parents in Conflict
  • A skills-based module which will recap the introduction and explore ways of identifying and working with parents.
  • The training is for: Practitioners.
  • MB2: 24 January 2020, 9:00 – 16:30 – full.
  • MB3:3 February 2020, 9:00 – 16:30 – places available. 
Module C (half day): The Role of Supervisors and Managers: How can I support my frontline practitioners?
  • A module for managers/supervisors to assist them in supporting their staff who are working with families who are experiencing parental conflict
  • The training is for: Managers
  • MC1: 25 February 2020, AM 9:00 – 12:30 – places available. 
  • MC2: 25 February 2020, PM 13:00 – 16:30 – places available. 
Module D (two full days): Training the Trainer
  • A module for professionals who would like to learn how to deliver the training back to their settings.
  • The training is for: Trainers
  • MD1: 26 and 27 February 2020, 9:00 – 16:30 – places available.
