Covid-19 Psychological First Aid for front line staff and volunteers

As we move into lockdown 2, staff and volunteers working in frontline positions at charities may need additional support in order to support others, who are struggling with the emotional impact. Future Learn in partnership with Public Health England has developed this online course on Covid-19 Psychological First Aid, which you, your volunteers and staff can access for free and complete in their own time.

Psychological First Aid (PFA) is the globally recommended training for supporting people during emergencies and offers guidance on delivering psychosocial care in the immediate aftermath of the emergency event. The training will help you to explore the psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and what you can do to help people cope.
