Covid-19 Emergency Funding via NLCF – still time to apply by 17 August

Article date

Voluntary sector

Back in May the government launched its Coronavirus funding for charities, some of which has been distributed through the National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF)

This funding will now close for applications on 17 August at 12 noon. All applications received before this date will continued to be assessed, so there is still time to apply if you are considering doing so. Organisations being prioritised for this funding stream are organisations that are:

  • Supporting people who are at high risk from Covid-19.
  • Supporting communities most likely to face increased demand and challenges as a direct result of Covid-19.
  • Which connect communities and support communities to work together to respond to Covid-19.

Please note that the above deadline relates to the funding specifically allocated by the government as part of the coronavirus support for charities. The NLCF will continue to offer their own funding going forward.
