In accordance with the Third Sector Premises Policy Statement agreed on the 16 February 2016, voluntary sector organisations have a period of 8 weeks to submit a bid for the property. Bids should be for a 125-year FRI lease only. The Bidding deadline is noon on 5 October 2016.
Cemetery Arch lies at the junction of London Road and Wokingham Road. It is a two-storey, Grade II listed, Bath stone carriage arch. It is flanked by two lodges to form a Classical-style gateway, attributed to local architect William Brown (1842), as the entrance to Reading Cemetery. To the rear are more recent outbuildings (storage/WC and shower room) plus parking area.
