You may be aware that the Tenant Fees Act 2019 came into force on 1 June. The Act bans unfair lettings fees and sets out the fees that landlords and agents can still charge private tenants. Reading Borough Council’s Trading Standards have produced a useful briefing note on what the changes mean for thousands of private renters.
