A new website launches today, providing valuable information on safeguarding across the whole of Berkshire, including how to report concerns and instances of abuse. The policies and procedures on the website will support staff in social care to ensure that they can respond appropriately to concerns relating to abuse and neglect. Members of the public will also be able to use the website to learn about what to look out for and how to report any concerns.
The website has been launched with the aim of achieving Berkshire-wide cooperation and support, across all agencies, to prevent and reduce the risk of harm to adults at risk, and to support individuals to maintain control over their lives and make informed choices to keep safe.
The website will be updated regularly and staff can sign up for automatic email alerts. For more information, and to sign up for emails, please visit: https://www.berkshiresafeguardingadults.co.uk/
