We’re looking for volunteers for this year’s Reading on Thames Festival!
The festival aims to be a catalyst for a new spirit of collaboration and partnership across Reading’s creative and cultural sector. A full programme for this year’s festival can be found HERE
Volunteers’ duties will vary across events but may include working in teams to:
- help set up and clear venues
- manage audiences
- ticket checking
- ensuring safety on site
- responding to any queries
There will be opportunities to volunteer throughout the festival but we are particularly looking for helpers for the following dates:

- Sunday 16 September: Up, Down and Along by Laura Mugridge. starting from the Thames Lido. Showtimes 11am, 2pm and 6pm
There will be additional opportunities to volunteer across the festival, so if you are interested in being involved but can’t make these dates please do still register to help.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of what is rapidly becoming an established part of Reading’s cultural calendar. It may be of particular interest to those looking for experience in live arts events, arts administration or customer service. Volunteers should be friendly, approachable and always willing to help. You must have a great team spirit and be reliable and adaptable at all times.
