Secretary to the board of trustees needed
Trustee / Committee volunteer needed for Reading Pride Ltd
We are looking for someone to act as Secretary for the Board of Trustees, in accordance with statutory requirements as laid down by the Charity Commission and to ensure arrangements are in place for the effective functioning of the Board of Trustees.
The key responsibilities are:
- to act as Secretary of the Board of Trustees in accordance with relevant legislation / regulations
- to ensure, in conjunction with the Executive Assistant & HR Manager, that effective arrangements are in place for meetings of the Board of Trustees, with dates advised to all relevant parties
- to ensure, in conjunction with the Executive Assistant & HR Manager, that agendas are circulated and minutes / outputs prepared and distributed in a timely fashion for all meetings of the Board of Trustees
- to ensure, in conjunction with the Executive Assistant & HR Manager, that all relevant documentation is provided to the Charity Commission and other relevant bodies as to the running of the organisation and any changes to the Board, such as to comply with all relevant legislation / regulations.
