Help run our popular drop-in information and support sessions
Information / Advice volunteers needed for Arthritis Care
For a few hours per month you would be helping us to run drop-ins in Reading.
What will I do?
Full training and ongoing support is provided and your role would usually involve providing information at drop ins and signposting to local services
There are further opportunities to provide telephone support and lead workshops – all with full training and support – should you wish to be involved in these
You will be supported by Arthritis Care staff at every drop in and we will make sure you are confident and comfortable before you start in your role.
Skills/Qualities/ Qualifications required
Ideally someone who has experience with arthritis – whether personal or via family and friends – who would like to meet and provide support and information for others living with the condition.
If you’re friendly, helpful and approachable then you are just what we need. If you enjoy getting out and about in your local community we would love to hear from you.
