Help people with disabilities enjoy a week-long canal boat holiday – (Caterer) – Dates end of May and start of July 2017
Catering volunteers needed for Gloucestershire Disabled Afloat Riverboats Trust in SN8
DART organise and run an annual programme of canal boat holidays for people with disabilities. We are seeking volunteers to act as caterer for the week long trips.
The caterer is there to keep everyone fed. You do not need to be a cordon bleu cook but you do need to be competent and happy to cater for up to 10 people as you might feed a family. You will be expected to manage the budget for the trip and organise the buying. You will be supported in this by a trip manager and skipper who will know where and when the shopping can be done.
Finally you may well be offered help with food preparation, laying tables, shopping and washing up!
