Leading group activities volunteers needed for Berkshire Scouts in RG4

3rd Reading Scout Group is looking for enthusiastic section assistants to help with activities for their Cub Packs, ages 8-10.

This role involves helping the Cub Leaders to run the exciting activities they have planned for the children, from abseiling to zorbing – we do it all and you can get involved!

CubsYou’ll be supporting the children to:

  • learn new skills
  • grow their confidence
  • work toward badges,
  • and go on fun trips and outings!

 

 

 

3rd Reading has three Cub Packs.   You can choose to get involved with which ever one best suits your availability

  • Hounds meet on a Tuesday from 18:45 to 20:15
  • Wolves meet on a Thursday from 18:45 to 20:15
  • Tigers meet on a Saturday from 11:00 to 12:30

We promote flexible volunteering. The Cub Packs each meet once a week during term-time. You can volunteer weekly, fortnightly, monthly – whatever suits you.
