Do you remember the Ice Bucket Challenge? For those who have not been paying attention it was the internet sensation in which people pored ice cold water (normally from a bucket) over themselves to promote a particular cause and encourage donations. Still not sure, it looked a bit like….
We want to offer someone with the drive, creativity and initiative the opportunity to have a go at creating their own internet sensation!
We want to highlight the plight of refugees and asylum seekers whilst raising some much needed funds to support our work. Don’t worry there will be no iced water involved, we think we have something much better! Doctor Who!……. Well a Doctor Who pinball machine!
Now, you might be thinking what has Doctor Who got to do with refugees? Good question, The Doctor was forced to flee his home planet Gallifrey in a stolen TARDIS as it had become ravaged by war. That makes The Doctor arguable the most famous refugee in space and time!
And the pinball? nothing really but who doesn’t like pinball?
