Could you be our next newsletter editor?
Coordination / Projects volunteer needed for Reading Cycle Campaign in RG1
The Reading Cycle Campaign is recruiting for a new newsletter content editor!
Our newsletter comes out four times a year on both paper and via email. The role requires about 10 hours work for each newsletter, spread over a month.
As editor you would be responsible for:
- keeping to deadlines and sourcing sufficient articles, including updates from the committee, articles from the membership, and collecting interesting snippets from other news sources
- copy editing of the articles (but our proof reader double checks everything)
- keeping in touch with the designer and distributor to arrange printing and delivery
- organising artwork for adverts
Most of the communication happens through email, but it would be appreciated if you can come to the monthly meeting of the RCC.
